The use of personal data that you disclose to us in the gaming halls belonging to MAX BET SRL is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy (available on the website) and this Information Notice, in compliance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and with national implementing legislation.

PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS IN MAX BET GAMING HALLS: name, surname, email, phone number, personal identification number, ID copy, image, occupation, status as a politically exposed person.

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

a) For the purpose of concluding and performing contracts between the parties - Under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, in order to provide you with MAX BET products and services of any type.

b) For marketing purposes - Under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, where you have given your consent for one or more specific purposes: for granting benefits in accordance with the company's policy, for statistical purposes, to send you marketing messages, offers, news about future campaigns, invitations to various MAX BET Events.

c) For the purpose of handling your requests, inquiries or complaints - Under Article 6(1)(a), (b) and/or (f) of the GDPR.

d) For the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party - Under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, to provide you with a pleasant and safe experience in the gaming halls, for the prevention and/or combating of fraud or for the defence of the legal rights and interests of MAX BET arising from the relationship with you.

e) For the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations – Under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, to fulfil our obligations towards the tax authorities in relation to invoicing and reporting to the tax authorities, for customer due diligence in accordance with AML legislation or for archiving purposes.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

a) When you access and use the services offered by MAX BET we retain your personal data for the duration of our contractual relationship, as well as for a further period where there is a legal obligation to retain data for MAX BET;

b) Where you have given your consent for marketing we retain your personal data until you unsubscribe or request their deletion but no longer than 3 years from the first interaction with you. If you withdraw your consent for the processing of data for marketing purposes, the processing of your personal data for this purpose will cease, without however affecting the processing carried out on the basis of the consent you gave before withdrawal.

c) Where you contact us with a request, inquiry or complaint we retain your personal data for the period necessary to process and/or resolve it, but no longer than 2 years from the last correspondence sent, except where there is a legal obligation for MAX BET to retain the data which exceeds this period;

d) Where your data has been processed as a result of a legitimate interest of MAX BET we retain your data for the period necessary to fulfil our legitimate interest;

e) For the fulfilment of legal obligations incumbent on MAX BET, the retention period for personal data is equal to the statutory limitation period applicable to the respective obligation.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

We disclose personal data:

(i) to the authorities that supervise our activity, as well as to institutions and bodies to which we have an obligation to report;

(ii) to our contractual partners only if and to the extent necessary for the performance of their obligations (e.g. providers of operational services, such as telecommunications, IT, payments, archiving, etc.);

(iii) to our staff who have duties that require the processing of data, only if and to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties;

(iv) to any business partner, investor, assignee (actual or potential) or professional advisers, such as auditors or lawyers.

We do not carry out cross-border transfers of personal data.

AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING

Our processing of data does not involve automated decision-making; each processing operation is analysed by an employee who performs their duties in strict compliance with legal provisions and internal regulations.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Under applicable legal provisions, you have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure of data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and to automated individual decision-making, the right not to be subject to an individual decision, the right to withdraw your consent at any time, the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority - A.N.S.P.D.C.P. (http://www.dataprotection.ro), and the right to seek legal recourse.
