The Grand Prize of Slanic City

The Sports Club Telecom from Slanic Prahova, led by coach Gheorghe Musat, organized between the 29th and 30th of April the competition ”The Grand Prize of Slanic City”, with the support of the City Hall of Slanic, the Romanian Athletics Federation and MaxBet Romania.

This competition was addressed to all athletes from sports clubs in Romania and people eager to exercise, passionate about running on the road.

This event was attended by about 200 competitors, from children aged 10-11 to veterans over 50 years. The total amount of prizes awarded was 20,000 lei.

Among the participants were 30 performance athletes, including national champions in athletics.

The award ceremony was officiated by the legend of Romanian athletics, Nicoleta Grasu - European and world vice-champion in discus throw.

The collaboration between MaxBet and the Sports Club Telecom from Slanic Prahova started in 2014 and continues today.
