We are veterans when it comes to supporting sports performance, and our participation as the official sponsor for awarding prizes at the Romanian Sports Gala was a special opportunity for us to celebrate the remarkable achievements of athletes and, at the same time, a confirmation of our firm desire to contribute to positive change.

The event took place on February 14 at the Romanian Athenaeum, a venue with symbolic and historical significance that amplified the importance and solemnity of the Romanian Sports Gala, bringing together prominent figures from Romanian sports past and present, including former and current Olympic, world, and European champions, referees, coaches, and representatives of federations and sports complexes. Elite athletes from across the country, high-ranking state officials, representatives of local authorities, diplomatic missions, partners, and collaborators of the National Sports Agency were present at this event.

The atmosphere was wonderful, appreciated by all participants, and perfect for celebrating achievements. As sponsors, we were delighted to be part of an event that brought together the sports community and provided an opportunity for well-deserved recognition of exceptional achievements in Romanian sports.

The Gala was a true celebration of excellence, where awards were presented in 18 distinct categories covering the entire spectrum of the sports industry. These included awards for male and female athletes of the year, coaches, Paralympic sports, notable sports events, male and female teams for various sports, as well as the best organization of an international competition in Romania. Special awards were also presented, including the special award from the National Sports Agency/Sports Legend or hopes for Romanian sports. Special attention was also given to federation presidents and administrators in sports.

Hard work, dedication, and perseverance were rewarded not only with personal success but also with our support and confidence as sponsors. At this event, 3 awards for excellence, 2 special awards for Paralympians, and 13 extraordinary awards for outstanding performances in 2023 were presented.

A special moment for MaxBet was also the presentation of the Event of the Year in Sports trophy - the European Short Course Swimming Championships for seniors, which was won by the legendary athlete, Camelia Potec.
