MaxBet supports tomorrow's generation! Atletico Slanic Sports Club makes history again

Gold, silver and bronze. These are the medals that the Atletico Slanic Club’ athletes won in all the competitions, in which they participate and the last ones confirmed once again that history is made in Slanic. It's been seven years since MaxBet is supporting the club's athletes, seven years since Slanic has become a nursery of champions.

Tomorrow's generation must be healthy and educated. And sport builds characters, makes you stronger in overcoming the obstacles and helps you evolve. From tomorrow's generation, the generation of future adults who will contribute to Romania's growth, the young people from the Atletico Slanic Sports Club are also part of it.

Despite the difficult times we are going through, the club's athletes have remained involved as always and the last few weeks have been full of training sessions for major national and international competitions.

From the European Masters Championship in Madeira, the Atletico Slanic Sports Club won the gold medal in the team event, but also a bronze medal in the individual events.

The athletes also stood out at the first competition organized this year at national level. These are the championships addressed to athletes who are less than 20, 18 and 16 years old. From the U20-U18-U16 Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Atletico Slanic Sports Club returned with 2 gold medals obtained in the U20-U18 category by the athlete Mihai Rusu in 3000m, a gold medal obtained by Bianca Stoica in the 1500m event U16 obstacles, as well as a bronze medal obtained by Dragos Mihai Negoita in the U16 category, in the 3000m event.

The results obtained come after a lot of work, individual and group training hours. And the effort is more intense than ever in the context in which athletes are preparing for the next competitions.

This club has exceptional results and it is a pride for us to be near the generation that will build Romania of tomorrow, to know that our effort and support generates results, that these athletes are an example for the community they belong to. In the complicated times we live in, we need more models and examples than ever, people to inspire us”, said Ioana Bazavan, general manager of MaxBet Romania.

Since its establishment, the club's athletes have won over 340 medals for seniors and over 30 medals for juniors. Atletico Slanic Sports Club trains and takes care of both children over 10 years old and adults up to 37 years old.
