National Physics Olympiad 2018, 54th edition

Over 570 students and 44 teachers met at the beginning of April, this year, in Breaza, Prahova County for the 54th edition of the National Physics Olympiad. Young and old, the participants fought for 4 days in both theoretical and experimental tests. The teachers were strict in following the correction scale, and yet, 367 students managed to get very good results.

Their achievements were rewarded through diplomas, medals, prizes and mentions, granted by the Ministry of National Education.

This year, through the Dam Test, the Enlarged Lot of Romania was selected, consisting of 20 students, who will begin a period of intensive training, assisted by physics teachers. The selected students will participate in: International Physics Olympiad, TUYMADA - YAKUJIA International Multidisciplinary Olympiad, Asian Physics Olympiad and EUSO European Science Olympiad.

In this way, we want to congratulate once again the young Olympians for the results obtained and to show them our respect and admiration.

The amount of 105,000 lei contributed to the supplementation of the prize fund and, partially, to the organization of the scientific-educational activity.
