MaxBet, together with EduAct: Digital learning media to support school performance
In a world where artificial intelligence and technology are advancing rapidly, it is crucial that all students have access to digital education. However, in 2024, there are still schools where computer science classes are conducted solely on the basis of textbook information. Many pupils, especially those in rural areas, have no practical knowledge of how to use computers, learning about essential applications only at a theoretical level.
To combat these disparities, EduAct started the digital literacy programme "Buletin Digital" in March. The first session was dedicated to theory, as the school did not have a computer lab.
Equipping the computer lab: A key step for the future
In a joint effort, we created and equipped a new computer lab in the school. MaxBet was instrumental in this project, donating all the necessary IT equipment (monitors, drives, keyboards, routers, printers, cartridges, speakers, etc.) , and furniture, and the Town Hall supported the fitting out of the space. In the second session of the programme, students had the opportunity to practice their practical skills in using the mouse and other basic computer functionality.
Positive impact of the initiative
The transformation of the learning space has been impressive. The laboratory, now equipped with modern equipment, offers students a real opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive environment. Going forward, we plan to decorate the lab to create a welcoming and inspiring space.
MaxBet's involvement in supporting EduAct projects demonstrates our commitment to actively contributing to community development and reducing educational inequalities. Through such initiatives, new horizons are opened up for young people in vulnerable areas, giving them the chance to acquire the skills they need to thrive in the digital age.
